We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Basic to join our team at Global Medical Response Inc. As an EMT, you will play a critical role in providing emergency medical care and transportation to patients in need.
Responsibilities:
- Provide emergency medical care and treatment to patients, including assessing their condition, administering medications, and performing medical procedures.
- Operate an ambulance safely and efficiently, adhering to company safety policies and traffic laws.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including paramedics, nurses, and doctors, to provide high-quality patient care.
- Document patient information, including medical history, treatment, and outcomes, in a clear and concise manner.
- Participate in community programs and events to promote the company's image and establish strong relationships with the community.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- State Driver's License
- National or State EMT-Basic certification
- CPR/BLS certifications
- Driving record in compliance with company policy
- Pass Physical Agility Test
- Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
