Position: Sprinkler Systems Sales Consultant
The main responsibility of this role is to drive sales for new sprinkler system contracts. The selected candidate will engage in bidding processes, develop project timelines, oversee tool logistics, and manage personnel assigned to each job. Additionally, the individual will represent the organization during project meetings and facilitate necessary change orders. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Sprinkler Contract Sales.
This role demands a proactive approach in a dynamic environment, emphasizing sales strategies, client prospecting, and outstanding customer service. Frequent travel to client locations is a requirement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct basic troubleshooting of wet-based fire systems and communicate findings to clients for necessary repairs.
- Market and sell both new and existing sprinkler system services to a diverse clientele.
- Acquire knowledge of local, state, and national fire safety regulations to identify compliance issues and propose effective solutions.
- Perform customer assessments as needed.
- Secure all necessary licenses and certifications to fulfill job responsibilities.
- Ensure timely execution of scheduled client interactions as directed by management.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to foster client loyalty.
- Adhere to company protocols and complete all required documentation accurately and promptly.
- Define project requirements with precision.
- Establish job schedules and coordinate the logistics of tools to the job site.
- Manage project personnel and monitor their productivity.
- Participate in project meetings, initiate change orders, and oversee billing processes.
- Estimate remaining project costs for reporting purposes.
- Oversee daily project operations to ensure timely and budget-compliant completion.
- Collaborate with clients to develop tailored solutions to their challenges.
- Manage projects in accordance with established efficiency guidelines.
- Maintain open communication with team members regarding project needs.
- Analyze job cost reports and take necessary actions.
- Respond promptly to inquiries from senior management.
- Assist with collection efforts as needed.
- Interpret architectural plans to determine optimal sprinkler system placements for new and renovation projects.
- Travel to client and project sites as required.
- Maintain regular communication with the Vice President of Sprinkler Contract Sales.
Qualifications:

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED is mandatory.

- A valid driver's license is mandatory.
Technical Skills:
