Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled High-Voltage Drive Specialist to join our team in New Berlin, WI. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and experience with industrial applications of AC and DC drives.

The Estimated Salary for this Position is $140,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

This role involves providing technical expertise to ABB Motion Drive Products departments, including product management, product engineering, R&D, sales, training, customer support, and end-user services. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing power system analysis using commercially available software, developing proof-of-concepts in the application lab, and troubleshooting AC and DC drive systems.

Qualifications
  • Masters or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in industrial applications of AC and DC drives
  • Familiarity with IEEE, UL, NEMA, IEC standards associated with LV and MV drives and systems
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
