Job Summary

A Grill Cook at Jack in the Box is responsible for preparing meals quickly and efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and be able to multitask with ease.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare all meals to standard, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to ServSafe Practices and Standards.
  • Manage the flow of meals on the grill, ensuring timely and effective service.
  • Report to work on time, well-groomed, and dressed in company-required attire.
  • Ability to work around high heat and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Knowledge of food menu and preparation of all recipes.
  • Ability to track and inform management of food items discarded.
  • Ensure proper food safety and sanitation standards are met.
  • Execute closing procedures per company policy, including proper disposal of remaining food items.
  • Exhibit excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Maintain a positive attitude, professionalism, and teamwork in areas of customer service and restaurant operations.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • 2+ years of cook experience required.
  • ServSafe Practices and Standards Certification preferred.
