Key Responsibilities

  • Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of meat and seafood products, including cuts, preparation methods, and nutritional information.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions, and making recommendations to customers on meat and seafood products.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, including receiving, storing, and rotating products to ensure freshness and quality.
  • Department Operations: Oversee daily department operations, including cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Training and Development: Train and develop team members on meat and seafood products, customer service, and department operations.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a meat and seafood department, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Skills: Excellent customer service skills, strong product knowledge, and ability to lead and manage a team.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a fast-paced environment.
