FPGA Development Engineering Internship Opportunity

About the Role:
The FPGA Development Engineering Intern will play a key role in the development and implementation of FPGA designs under the guidance of a senior staff member.
This position offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to the FPGA development cycle, including architecture, HDL entry, synthesis, place and route, verification, and test-benching.
As a member of a cross-functional development team, you will work on designing and implementing cutting-edge audio products and technology.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the full FPGA development cycle, including architecture, HDL entry, synthesis, place and route, verification, and test-benching.
- Perform system level and FPGA specific tests on microphones, wireless mics, signal processors, and personal monitors.
- Collaborate with the development team to design and implement FPGA designs.
- Estimate, organize, and document development tasks, and practice solid design methodologies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Must have completed two years of coursework in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Basic understanding of FPGA development cycle and familiarity with VHDL or Verilog.
- Experience with FPGA tools Xilinx Vivado or Intel Quartus.
- Knowledge of digital logic circuits, embedded controllers, DSP concepts, and memory types.
- Experience with Python programming language.
- Basic knowledge of audio or wireless communications.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Quality conscious.
