Position Overview

Role: Core Faculty Member - Family Medicine Residency Program

The Family Medicine Residency Program at the University of Maryland Capital Region Health is seeking a committed core faculty member to provide guidance and mentorship to residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Instruct residents in delivering high-quality, compassionate healthcare
  • Exemplify professionalism and dedication to patient-centered practices
  • Conduct assessments and offer constructive feedback to residents
  • Engage in clinical discussions, rounds, and educational conferences
  • Prepare and present lectures for resident education
  • Oversee and instruct in both inpatient and outpatient environments
  • Participate in scholarly activities alongside residents
  • Provide mentorship and support for resident development

Required Qualifications:

  • Active membership in the University of Maryland Capital Region Health Medical Staff
  • Possession of a Maryland state medical license and DEA certificate
