Position Overview:
As a Cleaning Technician, you will be instrumental in ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of our facilities. Your role is vital in creating a welcoming and tidy atmosphere for all employees, clients, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and take pride in their work, demonstrating a proactive approach to cleanliness and organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting to uphold a sanitary environment.
  • Thoroughly clean and disinfect restrooms, ensuring that supplies are adequately stocked.
  • Manage waste disposal and recycling in an environmentally responsible manner.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of common areas, hallways, and public spaces.
  • Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, notifying supervisors when restocking is necessary.
  • Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a secure workplace.
Qualifications:
  • Reliable transportation is essential for this role.
  • Preferred candidates should reside within a reasonable distance from the work location.
  • Prior experience in custodial or cleaning roles is advantageous but not mandatory. We value a positive attitude, dependability, and a strong work ethic.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to follow established cleaning protocols.
  • Familiarity with proper cleaning techniques and safe usage of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Physical capability to lift and move heavy objects, climb stairs, and stand for extended periods.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
