Job Summary:
The Seattle Mariners Baseball Club is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Off-Duty Police Officer to provide security services for events at T-Mobile Park. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests, employees, and facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor the event environment to detect potential hazards and take corrective action as necessary.
- Provide assistance and services to the public and employees according to established procedures.
- Collaborate with the Security Department management to ensure a safe and secure environment.
- Enforce laws and regulations to prevent crimes or acts of violence.
Requirements:
- Certified completion of an approved police-training academy and be a sworn law enforcement officer with either the Seattle Police Department or King County Sheriff's Department.
- Must have police powers in the King County, Washington.
- Must have permission from authorizing agency to work off-duty/secondary shifts as a police officer.
Benefits:
The Mariners offer a competitive pay package, including $79-$83 per hour, as well as a range of perks and benefits, including paid public transportation, concession and merchandise discounts, and special access to baseball games and other public events.
