Summary: Delta-T Group Inc. is seeking an experienced Education Professional to provide support to children in various settings, including intermediate units, public, private, and charter schools.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide effective management skills and techniques for an Early Childhood age level population
  • Plan and prepare lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and educational objectives
  • Deliver instruction using a variety of instructional strategies, adapting to different learning styles and abilities
  • Assess and evaluate student understanding and progress through tests, quizzes, and assignments
  • Establish and maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment conducive to learning
  • Encourage active participation and interaction among students, fostering their curiosity and critical thinking skills
  • Communicate regularly with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress, behavior, and other relevant issues
  • Engage in ongoing professional development activities to stay current with educational trends, teaching methodologies, and subject area knowledge
  • Collaborate with other teachers, administrators, and support staff to support student learning and school-wide initiatives
  • Provide guidance and support to students on academic and personal matters, serving as a mentor when needed
  • Utilize educational technology, textbooks, and other instructional materials effectively to enhance learning experiences
  • Contribute to the development and revision of curriculum materials, including textbooks, lesson plans, and educational programs
  • Serve on committees or task forces related to school policies, curriculum planning, or extracurricular activities

Requirements:

  • Commitment to the success of each and every student
  • Teaching experience in a public or private school, preferably in an urban setting
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team member
  • Experience in writing and monitoring IEPs and communicating with families and service providers to support students
  • Ability to work with diverse populations
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of the teaching and learning process
  • Bachelor's degree in teaching (preferred)
