Job Summary

We are seeking a caring and compassionate Part-Time COTA to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist to implement and execute established patient treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and execute established patient treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, referring physicians, and other members of the team.
  • Provide timely and accurate written documentation per facility and department requirements.
  • Develop and enhance clinical and professional skills through ongoing education and professional association.
  • Support and participate in department operations and development.
  • Report any changes in patient status or needs to supervising therapist on a timely basis.
  • Prepare and submit patient charges accurately to access appropriate billing information.
  • Coordinate treatment goals with other team members.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An Associate's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) or the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) certified school.
