Job Opportunity

Parallax Center Inc is seeking a highly motivated Therapist to facilitate in-person and virtual individual and group counseling sessions for our Substance Abuse Program.

Responsibilities
  • Provide substance abuse treatment for clients, including group, individual, and family counseling and crisis intervention.
  • Facilitate groups for adult outpatient clients and provide individual counseling services.
  • Complete and maintain documentation, including treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge plans.
  • Ensure clients' medical examinations and psychiatric evaluations are completed.
  • Attend case conferences, supervisory meetings, and training sessions.
  • Maintain credentialing and attend training.
  • Provide referrals and assist with obtaining services and resources.
  • Coordinate services with referral sources and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • CASAC, LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, or MSW with license within 6 months.
  • Experience working with substance use disorder and/or LGBTQ+ population and/or MICA is preferred.
