The Base Operations Attendant plays a vital role within the Base Operations team at Woodward Park City, directly reporting to the Base Operations Manager. The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual dedicated to ensuring our guests have a seamless experience arriving and departing from the resort. While each day presents unique challenges and responsibilities may shift according to business needs, here’s what you can anticipate in the role of Base Operations Attendant:
  • Deliver exceptional service to our guests.
  • Assist with parking operations by managing flow, communicating with guests, and updating signage as necessary.
  • Clear snow and ice from pathways, stairs, and decks using shovels, snowblowers, and salt spreaders.
  • Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks, including emptying trash receptacles throughout the premises.
  • Support all base area operations, including maintenance and guest greetings.
  • Adapt to various events, operations, and projects as needed.
  • Comply with departmental training and safety protocols.
  • Prioritize safety in all daily tasks.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in a fast-paced environment and acquire new skills.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Possess a guest service-oriented mindset and an engaging personality.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across various functions and departments.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Capable of making prompt safety-related decisions.
  • Physical requirements include bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, standing for extended periods, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all seasons and varying weather conditions.
