Job Summary

The Senior Civil Construction Estimator / Project Manager is a key role within our organization, responsible for leading the estimation and project management processes for large-scale civil construction projects. This position requires advanced expertise in cost estimation, project planning, and execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for civil construction projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and overhead.
  • Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop and manage comprehensive project plans and schedules, including defining project scope, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Project Management: Oversee the execution of civil construction projects from inception through completion, ensuring that all project requirements are met.
  • Bid and Proposal Management: Lead the preparation and submission of bid proposals, ensuring that all requirements are addressed and deadlines are met.
  • Quality and Compliance: Ensure that all work complies with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil construction estimation and project management, with a strong focus on large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Software Proficiency: Extensive experience with HCSS Software/HeavyBid for cost estimation and project management.
Working Conditions
  • This position requires frequent travel to project sites and client meetings.
  • The role involves working in both office and field environments, which may include exposure to various weather conditions and physical demands.
