About the Role:

This position involves working closely with families, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to identify and address developmental delays and disabilities. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing individualized plans, and providing guidance on strategies to promote healthy development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of children's developmental needs
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to support child development
  • Provide guidance and support to families on strategies to promote healthy development
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and other specialists to ensure comprehensive care
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on client progress
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and research in early childhood development

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Early Childhood Education, or a related field
  • Developmental Specialist Certification in accordance with FIT Program regulations
  • Experience working with children with special needs and their families
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Salary:$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience
