Responsibilities:
As a Behavior Technician with Centria Autism, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Working one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
  • Teaching communication, social, and daily living skills.
  • Reducing interfering behaviors.

To be successful in this role, you should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as patience, compassion, and the ability to work well in a team. A high school diploma or GED is required, and you must be able to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test. You will also be required to pass a pre-employment background check.
