Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install, repair, and maintain electronic classroom equipment, including audio-visual systems, projectors, and other multimedia devices.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support to faculty and staff on the use of electronic classroom equipment and multimedia systems.
  • Training and Supervision: Train and supervise student Help Desk employees on the use and maintenance of electronic classroom equipment.
  • Special Events: Assist with the setup and operation of audio-visual equipment for special events on campus.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as audio-visual technology or computer science.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in classroom repairs, audio-visual system installation, and technical support.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Extron control systems, audio and video signal routing, and multimedia equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Software: Knowledge of Adobe Premiere Production Suite and other multimedia editing software.
  • Availability: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
