Epic Ambulatory/MyChart Executive Director

The University of Miami Health System, UHealth, Information Technology Department, is seeking a highly skilled Executive Director, Epic Ambulatory/MyChart, to lead the implementation, management, and optimization of Epic Inpatient Applications.

This role requires a strong understanding of healthcare industry concepts, practices, and procedures, as well as experience in leading large teams and managing staff effectively.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree preferred, and Epic Certifications required, with a minimum of 12 years of experience in healthcare or a healthcare-related organization.

The Executive Director, Epic Ambulatory/MyChart, will be responsible for developing and maintaining Information Technology strategic planning, workforce and resource allocation, while maintaining a forward-looking vision and strategy.

Key responsibilities include working with leadership to develop competitive strategic plans, implementing effective strategies and tactics to improve patient experiences and outcomes, and conducting feasibility studies related to implementation of new ancillary procedures and clinic studies.

The successful candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to logically examine and interpret information from different sources to determine a problem's cause and develop a course of action to resolve the problem and prevent its recurrence.

They will also be able to gain trust and establish effective relationships with team members, and persevere in difficult situations, overcome obstacles, and reach high levels of performance when faced with stressful work situations and time pressure.
