Delivery Truck Driver Job Description

As a Delivery Truck Driver with US Foods, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive trucks to customers, unload products, and provide excellent customer service
  • Operate vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to company policies and regulations
  • Meet or exceed delivery schedules and productivity standards
  • Collaborate with other drivers and warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition

Requirements:

  • Valid CDL Class A and necessary endorsements
  • Minimum six months commercial driving experience (any industry) or three months commercial driving experience in food and beverage delivery
  • Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively
  • Comfortable driving in inclement weather and with frequent stops
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
