The estimated salary range for this position is between $100,000 and $181,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
Job Description:
Nursing Academic Affairs Director
At Chamberlain University, we are seeking an accomplished Nursing Academic Affairs Director to lead our daytime and evening/weekend campus-based BSN programs. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a passion for fostering academic excellence, driving student success, and advancing our mission.
This role involves overseeing program delivery, ensuring curricula meet high standards, and collaborating with a high-performing team to shape the future of nursing education.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and innovate by developing and implementing strategies to drive academic excellence and student success
- Drive student success by leading efforts to improve persistence, graduation rates, NCLEX pass rates, and overall satisfaction
- Build and inspire teams by fostering a positive, care-driven culture that empowers others to excel
- Ensure excellence in teaching by supporting faculty in delivering an outstanding student experience
- Monitor and evaluate program outcomes to ensure academic goals are met and continuous improvement is prioritized
- Collaborate across teams to drive strategies for student achievement, including curriculum delivery, compliance, and budget management
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and serve as a liaison between local, state, and national teams
- Shape the future of nursing education by leading the development of new programs and expanding existing ones
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Master's degree in nursing required; doctorate preferred
- Five years of full-time experience in nursing education, including three years in a leadership role
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in managing sensitive issues, multitasking, and working in a fast-paced environment
- Current unencumbered licensure as an RN and/or a multi-state privilege to practice nursing in the Commonwealth/State
