Speech-Language Pathologist Opportunity

Soliant is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join a school district near Cypress, CA.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify students' speech and language disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication goals and needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' academic and social-emotional development.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided, progress reports, and other relevant records.
  • Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings to contribute valuable insights and recommendations for students' speech and language goals.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
  • Valid California state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
  • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for ASHA certification.
  • Previous experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school setting.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a large caseload efficiently.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices and interventions for speech and language disorders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to meet students' diverse needs.
