As an Adjunct Professor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, assessing student learning, and contributing to the development of curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Process Technology courses in a variety of delivery methods, including face-to-face, online, and hybrid formats.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, assessments, and evaluations to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback to promote academic success.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum, assessments, and instructional strategies.
  • Participate in departmental and college-wide initiatives to improve student outcomes and program effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in an appropriately relevant field or a related field with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in the relevant field.
  • Five years of relevant industry experience or ten years of industry experience in an appropriately relevant field.
  • Hold a licensure/Certification or relevant experience that would lead to the competencies required for successful performance of the position's essential duties.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in relevant craft courses in higher education.
  • Prior experience as a trainer for an employer in an appropriately relevant field.
  • Certification/Licensure within specific area of instructional responsibility is desirable and may be required in some cases.
