Key Responsibilities

As a Laboratory Assistant II, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Phlebotomy procedures: collecting blood samples from patients with precision and care
  • Specimen processing: handling and preparing specimens for analysis
  • Patient registration: accurately documenting patient information and specimen details
  • Computer system utilization: proficiently using hospital and laboratory information systems
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent education/experience
  • Completion of phlebotomy training program
  • Certification as a Phlebotomy Technician I (CPTI)
  • At least 1-2 years of experience as a Laboratory Assistant in an acute care hospital setting
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $28.87-$35.90, commensurate with experience.
