Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Global Datacentre Specialist to join our team at ARM. As a key member of our Global Infrastructure & Platforms (GI&P) team, you will be responsible for maintaining Datacentre services and collaborating with technical leaders and contributors to achieve common goals.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of datacentre best practices, basic knowledge of various types of datacentre hardware, and familiarity with Datacentre products and solutions. Excellent communication skills and the ability to learn new technologies are essential for this role.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and install hardware into our datacenters using Nlyte.
  • Coordinate installs with vendors and ensure that incidents, requests, and problems are handled according to agreed ARM procedures and Service Level Agreement.
  • Manage assets using DCIM tooling Nlyte and monitor the Datacentre infrastructure to proactively resolve alerts.
  • Document and share knowledge to improve first-time fix rates and ensure that appropriate action is taken to anticipate, investigate, and resolve problems in systems, services, and processes.
Requirements:
  • Understanding of datacentre best practices.
  • Basic knowledge of various types of datacentre hardware.
  • Familiarity with Datacentre products and solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to learn new technologies.
Nice to Have:
  • Nlyte or similar DCIM tooling.
  • Hardware installation experience.
  • Experience in PDU management.
  • Windows administration skills.
  • Understanding of ITIL framework.
