Job Title: Program Support Aide

At CP, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Program Support Aide to join our Adult Day Services team.

Job Summary:

The Program Support Aide will provide day-to-day assistance to our Adult Instructors and Personal Care Specialists, ensuring the well-being and safety of our clients. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional care and support to individuals with severe disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist with personal care tasks, including toileting, feeding, and dressing, with a focus on providing individualized support.
  2. Provide assistance during classes, exercise, and pool activities, ensuring a safe and engaging experience for our clients.
  3. Prepare and arrange rooms for lunch periods, sanitize tables, and maintain a clean environment.
  4. Monitor and adhere to program and class schedules, ensuring seamless transitions and efficient operations.
  5. Sanitize rooms and equipment as scheduled, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
  6. Perform housekeeping tasks, including laundry and stocking, to maintain a comfortable and welcoming environment.
  7. Document incidents, seizures, and behavior reports accurately and in a timely manner.
  8. Attend staff meetings, in-service training, and continuing education courses to enhance knowledge and skills.
  9. Provide direction to volunteers during program activities and community outings, promoting a positive and inclusive experience.
  10. Perform other duties as required, adhering to agency safety policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  1. High school diploma required; CNA license preferred.
  2. Physically able to lift and transfer adults (minimum of 25 pounds).
  3. Experience working with adults who have severe disabilities, with a strong focus on providing individualized support.
  4. Positive attitude and strong professionalism at all times, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
  5. Successful completion of background check, pre-employment lift test, communicable disease screen, and drug screen.
