Position Overview:

The Entry-Level Environmental Technician will contribute to the Environmental operations by performing both Industrial Hygiene and Environmental Due Diligence tasks. This role may involve occasional off-shift hours, overtime, and travel.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, subject to variation based on workload.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct Asbestos Inspections, Abatement Observations, and Post-Abatement Assessments
  • Perform Lead Surveys, XRF Sampling, and Post-Abatement Sampling
  • Execute Mold Investigations, Air Sampling, and Indoor Air Quality Studies
  • Support Due Diligence Projects and Environmental Site Assessments
  • Document Field Activities and Prepare Reports
  • Coordinate Project Data, Records, and Reports related to assignments
  • Participate in Quality Assurance/Quality Control and Safety Programs

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Familiarity with specific sampling instrumentation
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Valid Driver's License with a reliable driving record
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Biology, Chemistry, or a related Physical Science
  • One year of experience in asbestos, lead-based paint, and mold monitoring, inspecting, and sampling
  • State Certifications in Asbestos, Lead, or Mold
  • Understanding of Industrial Hygiene and practical environmental concepts
