Job SummaryWe're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lawn Care Technician & Route Manager to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance routes, you'll be responsible for managing commercial and residential properties, ensuring quality control, and maintaining professional customer relationships.
Responsibilities- Manage the Maintenance Route: You'll be the boots on the ground, responsible for managing commercial and residential properties, checking for quality control, and maintaining professional customer relationships.
- Maintain Equipment: You'll lead your crew in proper maintenance, including cleaning equipment, regular oil changes, fueling, sharpening blades, inventory of equipment, and reporting any damages or unworking tools/equipment.
- Flexible Schedule: You'll have a flexible schedule with the help of our management team, allowing you to take advantage of a dynamic work environment.
- Attendance: As a team lead, you'll set the example for attendance, ensuring the rest of the team follows suit.
- Understand Budgeted Time: You'll manage jobs to keep them profitable, ensuring timely completion and quality control.
- Project Follow-Ups: You'll ensure quality control, minimizing the need for rework and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Crew Retention: You'll foster a positive and teamwork-based culture, promoting employee retention and satisfaction.
- Customer Retention & Sales: You'll build strong customer relationships, with opportunities for commission from new customer sales.
- Communication with Management: You'll stay in touch with the office using our designated apps, ensuring seamless communication.
- Prior experience in landscaping, lawn service, or similar industries is essential for leading a team.
- You'll need to know your way around mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other equipment, including operation and preventative maintenance.
- A valid Ohio Driver's License and a clean driving history are required, with experience driving a truck and trailer a plus.
- The pay range for this position is $18 to $24, dependent on experience as a lawncare or landscaping professional and in leading a team.
- Commission opportunity available for new sales.
