Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Marlborough, MA. As a key member of our Mechanical Engineering Directorate, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex interconnect solutions for various platforms, including combatant systems, mobile and stationary ground platforms, and missile systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop interconnect solutions using CREO and other CAD tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate interconnect systems into various platforms
  • Develop and review schematic diagrams, interconnection diagrams, and cable assembly drawings
  • Work with suppliers to source interconnect components and materials
  • Lead small teams in the development of cable/harness design and documentation
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in interconnect design and CAD tools
  • Experience with manufacturing and field troubleshooting
  • Leadership experience in small teams
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of military and commercial codes and standards for cabling and interconnects design
  • Technical knowledge of interconnect component parts and suppliers
  • Hands-on experience with manufacturing and field troubleshooting
