Reporting to Adobe's General Counsel and Chief Trust Officer, Dana Rao, the VP of Corporate Legal Affairs will be a seasoned attorney with expertise in securities law, mergers and acquisitions, and prior experience in product legal counsel. The ideal candidate will exhibit a strong intellectual curiosity to deeply understand our business and products, possess a commanding executive presence, and communicate effectively across all organizational levels, including the Executive team, Board of Directors, and Shareholders. Proven success in cross-functional collaboration and strong writing skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • A Juris Doctor degree from a prestigious law school, with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in a top law firm or in-house legal department, particularly in federal securities law and corporate governance; additional experience in contracts, product counseling, or intellectual property is preferred.
  • Exceptional relationship management skills, with the ability to cultivate partnerships and rapport throughout the organization and with key external stakeholders.
  • A strategic thinker with outstanding legal and business judgment, demonstrating integrity and ethical behavior with a commitment to transparency.
  • A creative and innovative leader with a positive outlook, experienced in collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to navigate high-stakes situations with clarity, particularly in mergers and acquisitions.
  • Strong prioritization skills, focusing on critical initiatives for the LSP and the organization, while striving for operational excellence.
  • A collaborative leader who empowers their team and adapts their style to foster strong performance across the organization.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to influence and persuade at all levels.
  • An inspiring manager capable of attracting, developing, and advancing top talent while leading a distributed team towards common objectives.
  • A champion of Adobe's core values: Create the Future, Own the Outcome, Raise the Bar, Be Genuine.

At Adobe, you will experience an exceptional work environment recognized globally. You will be surrounded by colleagues dedicated to mutual growth through our unique Check-In approach, where ongoing feedback is encouraged.
