Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team at The Walsh Group. As a key member of our infrastructure maintenance team, you will be responsible for conducting field maintenance and repairs to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our roadway assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily assessments of pavements, signs, guardrails, turf condition, vegetation, lighting, and other contract requirements.
  • Repair and maintain the functionality of roadway systems and associated components/assets utilizing mechanical equipment, power tools, and basic hand tools.
  • Assist varied crew and equipment on work sites operating vehicle large trucks and specialized motor vehicles and trailers.
  • Provide assistance with preparation of third-party claims documents and incident report documents.
  • Conduct maintenance and repairs of Roadway assets including but not limited to drainage systems, asphalt and concrete paved surfaces, guardrails, vegetation, lighting, roadway signs and all other components associated with the maintenance and care contained within the roadway/contract limits.
Requirements
  • 3+ years roadway maintenance or other highway maintenance related experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record (Required).
  • Requires good manual dexterity; may be standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
