Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled Professional Land Surveyor to join our team at Jobot. This is a permanent full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of land development and engineering projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive land surveys and prepare detailed reports, maps, and plots, using advanced surveying equipment and software.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction professionals on land development projects.
  • Review and interpret survey data, including records, maps, and previous survey results.
  • Provide guidance and direction to survey team members, ensuring accuracy of work and adherence to set standards.
  • Oversee the preparation of all necessary documentation related to land surveying.
  • Perform regular checks and updates of surveying equipment to ensure functionality and accuracy.
  • Liaise with government agencies and other relevant bodies regarding land registration and related legal matters.
  • Assist in the preparation of project proposals, tenders, and bids.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, in line with your skills and experience.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Professional Land Surveyor, preferably within the Engineering or Land Development sector.
  • Licensed as a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in using advanced surveying equipment and software.
  • Strong understanding of land surveying processes, legal boundaries, and environmental regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions based on data.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and willingness to travel to different project sites as required.
