Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Security Recovery Support Staff to join our team at the Resource Recovery Center of Orange County. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our staff, clients, and premises.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Protect staff and clients by using preventive techniques to reduce risk and facilitate safety.
  • Ensure the security, safety, and well-being of all personnel, visitors, and the premises.
  • Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, and inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points.
  • Obtain help by sounding alarms and preventing losses and damage by reporting irregularities.
  • Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
  • Maintain environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Provide excellent customer service and adhere to all company service and operating standards.
  • Respond to emergencies to provide necessary assistance to employees and customers.
  • Protect company's assets relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent, GED Required
  • Current valid unrestricted New York State Driver's License
  • Current New York State Security License preferred

Working Conditions:
