Diesel Mechanic Job Description

River Road Ready Mix Products, Inc is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our company fleet vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine services and vehicle maintenance to ensure optimal performance and safety
  • Inspect vehicles for faults and repairs, identifying and addressing issues promptly
  • Inspect various parts of vehicles, including transmissions, engines, steering mechanisms, and brake systems to diagnose and repair problems
  • Read and interpret diagnostic test results to identify problems and determine the solution
  • Replace malfunctioning parts and test-drive vehicles to ensure everything is working properly
Requirements:
  • Practical knowledge of vehicle diagnostic equipment and ability to read and understand work orders
  • Knowledge and experience in wiring, AC diagnostic, and repair
  • Clean driving history, CDLs preferred but not required
  • Ability to run a service truck and possess own tools
  • Experience working on concrete mixer, dump trucks, and heavy equipment
Salary:

$33.00 per hour depending on experience
