Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Tax Services Intern to join our team at RSM Global. As a Business Tax Services Intern, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of tax specialty areas, including accounting for income taxes, corporate taxation, and individual taxation.

Your primary responsibilities will include completing tax planning and research, preparing federal and state tax returns, and understanding tax regulations and accounting pronouncements. You will also have the opportunity to work on multiple team engagements each year, including several pieces of any particular assignment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Working on a team that focuses on a wide range of tax specialty areas
  • Completing tax planning and research
  • Preparing federal and state tax returns
  • Understanding tax regulations and accounting pronouncements
Requirements:
  • 90 credit hours completed
  • Working towards B.A. / B.S. degree or equivalent from accredited university
  • Accounting Major
  • Ability to work effectively on a team
  • Ability to work and multitask in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3.0+ GPA
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel
