Job Overview
At TotalMed, we are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Nurse to join our team in Fayetteville, North Carolina. As a Critical Care Nurse, you will provide specialized care for patients transitioning from intensive care to general medical-surgical units.

About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate nurse with strong communication and adaptability skills. You will be responsible for monitoring and assessing patients' vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and respiratory status in the step-down unit. Additionally, you will administer medications, perform procedures, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities
* Provide specialized nursing care to patients transitioning from intensive care to general medical-surgical units
* Monitor and assess patients' vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and respiratory status in the step-down unit
* Administer medications, perform procedures, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
* Educate patients and families on post-intensive care recovery, medication management, and self-care techniques

Benefits and Requirements

* BLS certification required (Other certifications as required by facility)
* Two years of recent Step Down experience required
* Strong communication and adaptability skills required
* Estimated Salary: $1,974.64 / week
