The Service and Installation Project Manager is essential in overseeing the entire lifecycle of our equipment installation and service initiatives. This encompasses planning, executing, monitoring, and finalizing projects while providing continuous support to our clients. The individual will serve as a primary contact for customers, ensuring their requirements are fulfilled and their expectations are surpassed.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and supervise equipment installation and service projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and exceptional quality standards.
2. Availability for travel to customer locations for preparation and during installation and service activities.
3. Develop detailed project plans that include resource allocation, timelines, and budget oversight.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, and customer support, to facilitate seamless project execution.
5. Conduct risk evaluations and implement strategies to mitigate potential project risks.
6. Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and addressing any issues that may arise.
7. Offer hands-on customer support, including troubleshooting and training, to ensure complete client satisfaction with our products and services.
8. Collect and analyze customer feedback to drive continuous improvement in our products and processes.
9. Prepare and present comprehensive project reports and findings to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
2. Demonstrated experience (5+ years) in project management, particularly in equipment installation and customer support.
3. Strong technical knowledge of printed circuit board fabrication equipment, including wet chemical lines and automation or related technologies and installation procedures.
4. Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and leadership capabilities.
5. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and inspire teams.
6. Proficiency in project management software.
7. Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is preferred but not mandatory.
8. Fulfill responsibilities arising from Quality Management Systems.
