Job Summary

The StateJobsNY is seeking a skilled Road Maintenance Crew Member to join our team. As a key member of our Regional Road Crew, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to road maintenance, including operating heavy equipment, driving large trucks, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operate heavy equipment to perform road maintenance tasks

Drive large trucks to transport heavy equipment and materials

Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations

Perform medium to heavy manual labor as part of daily tasks

Requirements

Valid driver's license that allows operation of a motor vehicle in New York State

Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License with air brake endorsement

Ability to operate a truck/trailer combination

Ability to understand and carry out instructions, including in writing
