We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Coordinator to join our team at MasTec Communications Group. As a Project Coordinator, you will play a critical role in facilitating and coordinating the work of multiple project teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Facilitate and coordinate the work of multiple project teams to ensure successful project completion.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify and work to remove barriers to successful project completion, with particular emphasis on resolving issues with subcontractors.
  • Project Status Updates: Provide timely project status updates to Project Managers and submit problems and issues for Cabinet resolution.
  • Database Management: Maintain and update the company database.
  • Reporting: Generate customized reports and pivot tables, utilizing VLOOKUP functionality.
  • Contract Management: Create and track contracts, purchase orders, submittals, and complete project close-out manuals.
  • Vendor Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact with external vendor representatives and functional consultants on overall strategic and technical project matters.
  • Correspondence: Handle all correspondence between the general contractor, owner, architect, and subcontractors.
Requirements
  • Safety Focus: Safety is a part of your day-to-day work.
  • Smartsheet Experience: Strong preference for Smartsheet experience.
  • Quality Work: Track record of completing work with a high level of quality.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to figure out hard problems and enjoy a hands-on approach to work.
  • Long-Term Projects: Looking for long-term projects.
  • Team Player: Enjoy getting your hands dirty with your team.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or 5 years of equivalent work experience.
  • Project Management: Project management skills and ability to resolve complex problems and issues.
  • Microsoft Skills: Strong Microsoft Word and Excel experience.
  • Construction Background: Construction background.
  • Purchasing Experience: Purchasing experience.
  • Software Experience: Norad and Oracle experience, a huge plus.
  • Telecom Experience: Telecom experience.
