Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Mammography Technologist to join our team at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Outpatient Imaging. As a Mammography Technologist, you will be responsible for performing breast imaging procedures and related techniques, producing data for interpretation by licensed independent practitioners. You will also ensure that services are performed in a safe environment, in accordance with established guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Perform breast imaging procedures and related techniques, producing data for interpretation by licensed independent practitioners.
  • Ensure services are performed in a safe environment, in accordance with established guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as part of the imaging center team, seeking and providing feedback for improved clinical practice.
Requirements
  • Must have a minimum Associate's Degree in Radiology or be a graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program.
  • Must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography and maintain current valid registration from ARRT.
  • Must also hold a Mammography advanced registration through ARRT or obtain it within the first 12 months of employment.
  • Must meet the state licensure requirement for the state in which they practice.
  • BLS certification required within 60 days of hire.
