Senior Project Accountant Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Accountant to join our team at LHH. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, as well as providing analytical support to management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and regulatory requirements
  • Assist with the month-end close process, including account reconciliations and journal entries
  • Support the annual audit process, including the preparation of financial statements and related notes
  • Research and analyze expense variances to identify areas for cost savings

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of professional accounting experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics, or equivalent experience
  • CPA certification preferred
