Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Accountant to join our team on a permanent basis. This hybrid role offers the perfect balance of remote and in-office work, providing flexibility and convenience.

About the Role

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial reports, maintaining the general ledger, and performing account reconciliations. You will also assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, manage cost accounting tasks, and implement robust internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Preparation and analysis of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Maintenance of the general ledger, including journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Assistance in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, including financial modeling and scenario planning
  • Management of cost accounting tasks, including labor costing and overhead allocation
  • Implementation and maintenance of internal controls, including financial reporting and compliance
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; Master's degree or CPA certification preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial reporting, general ledger maintenance, and account reconciliation
  • Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare comprehensive financial statements and conduct financial audits
  • Strong understanding of risk management principles and insurance
  • Proficiency in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and advanced Excel skills
