Your primary focus will be on cardiovascular/thoracic surgery, practicing in the community setting at hospitals in the Advent Health System. Compensation is dependent on qualifications, and these positions do not require teaching or scholarly activity.

The University of Chicago Medicine has a long history of medical excellence, dating back to 1927. Our primary medical campus includes the Center for Care and Discovery, Comer Children's Hospital, and the Duchossois Center for Advanced Medicine. We have recently integrated the Ingalls Health System into our network and have new ambulatory facilities in Orland Park and the South Loop.

To be considered, applicants must have a medical doctorate or equivalent, hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois and the State of Indiana, be BC/BE by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery, and have completed an ACGME accredited fellowship and/or equivalent training in cardiovascular/thoracic surgery.
