Position Overview:

We are seeking a proficient technician to fulfill the role of a mechanic specializing in various types of machinery and vehicles. This position entails executing maintenance and repair tasks on small engines, automobiles, and heavy-duty equipment. Key duties will encompass conducting NC State Inspections, performing fluid changes, executing preventative maintenance, replacing belts, inspecting and replacing brakes, maintaining batteries, and repairing tires. Furthermore, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and repairing mechanical systems for gasoline, diesel, and alternative fuel engines and equipment.

Primary Duties:
  • Executing maintenance and repair work on small engines, vehicles, and heavy machinery
  • Carrying out NC State Inspections
  • Performing fluid changes and preventative maintenance tasks
  • Inspecting and replacing brake components as necessary
  • Maintaining and servicing batteries
  • Conducting tire repairs
  • Assisting in diagnosing and repairing mechanical systems across various engine types and equipment
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent educational background
  • Valid driving license with a clean record
  • Capability to obtain a NCSI license
  • Preferred experience of two years in maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with small engines, heavy machinery, and automotive vehicles
  • Understanding of mechanical systems, including emergency generators and hydraulic lifts
  • Possession of a State Inspection License is advantageous

Work Schedule: Standard hours are Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Flexibility for occasional evening and weekend duties may be required.
