Key Responsibilities
  • Security Presence: Provide a visible security presence on campus to deter and prevent disruptions and/or criminal offenses.
  • Campus Patrol: Patrol campus premises to detect and prevent disruptions and/or criminal offenses.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to emergencies to provide necessary assistance to employees, students, volunteers, and visitors.
  • Incident Reporting: Complete an Incident Report after any criminal offense has been reported, after an injury to any person on campus, after any damage to property on campus, after any suspicious incident, and after any event that requires notification.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Core Values: Affirm and uphold the Statement of Faith and the Core Values and DNA of the College, exemplifying all by word and lifestyle.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor degree is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in law enforcement or related field.
  • Physical Ability: Physical ability to perform related tasks.
  • Communication Skills: Proven ability to communicate on various levels.
  • Conflict Resolution: Ability to defuse and deescalate conflict.
  • Firearms Qualification: Current firearms qualification.
