Maternity Care Specialist

In this role, you will assess and evaluate patient care for an assigned group of patients, utilizing evidence-based practice. You will assist providers with patient assessment, examinations, and treatments, as well as perform basic medical procedures under their supervision. Additionally, you will administer medications under the direction of the provider and thoroughly educate and explain procedures to patients and family members. Documenting accurately and completely pertinent assessments, interventions, and outcomes for patients is also a key responsibility. As a Registered Nurse, you will assume responsibility and accountability for care provided and documented by other licensed and unlicensed caregivers. This role requires a graduate degree from an accredited school of nursing, a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Ohio, and current BLS/CPR certification. Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and manage patient care, including delegation to and supervision of other members of the patient care team, is also essential. Basic computer skills are required, with prior experience using an EMR for charting preferred. With a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration, you will work closely with our experienced team to provide exceptional patient care.
