Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Neuro Endovascular Radiology Technologist to join our team at Ascension Sacred Heart. As a key member of our cardiovascular team, you will play a critical role in analyzing, diagnosing, and treating cardiovascular system disorders.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with procedures to analyze, diagnose, and treat cardiovascular system disorders.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, review medical history, position patients, and clean, shave, and numb testing sites as appropriate.
  • Interpret, describe, and report test results, recognizing recording errors and artifacts and reacting appropriately.
  • Monitor patients prior to, during, and after procedures, promptly reporting any abnormal findings in patient condition.
  • Prepare and maintain equipment, supplies, and lab area, ensuring equipment is properly functioning and reporting potential problems or equipment malfunctions to appropriate personnel.
  • Lock/tag out equipment if necessary and assist in maintaining a clean and orderly department.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required.
  • One or more of the following required: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, Certified Cardiographic Tech, Radiologic Technologist, or Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
