We are seeking a skilled Investment Fund Reporting Specialist to enhance our financial reporting team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial documentation for registered investment companies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough reviews of fund expense proformas.
  • Oversee fund expenses and accruals, coordinating necessary adjustments with clients and the financial reporting team.
  • Examine fund invoices for proper authorization and review.
  • Prepare annual, semi-annual, and quarterly financial statements and necessary regulatory forms for registered investment companies.
  • Collaborate with the Fund Administration Manager in the preparation of board books and procedural manuals.
  • Communicate performance data effectively to fund management and relevant industry publications.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of applicable laws and regulations governing financial disclosures, including the Investment Company Act of 1940 and GAAP.
  • Ensure timely communication with the Financial Reporting Team Leader regarding workflow and deadlines.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with substantial work experience; a business-related focus is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial reporting, particularly in reviewing financial statements.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and self-motivation.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to recommending solutions.
  • Strong aptitude for accuracy and detail-oriented tasks.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
