Risk Management Engineer

FM Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Engineer to join their team in the greater Dayton, OH area. As a Consultant Engineer, you will be responsible for assessing risks at client facilities and providing recommendations for risk management solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform site assessments of physical properties, including roofs and evaluating site water supplies, dust hazards, chemical storage, and rack storage arrangements for client products.
  • Ensure that FM Engineering Standards are followed and communicate recommendations and/or engineering solutions to clients.
  • Work independently from a home office environment, with occasional travel to clients' facilities and Natural Catastrophe sites.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering (various specialties considered).
  • Zero to five years of industry experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Efficient time management ability with minimal supervision.
  • Solid technical aptitude, including diverse knowledge of engineering principles.
  • Authorization to work in the country you are applying to work in.
  • Physical ability to lift 25 pounds, able to climb ladders, balance, and deal with heights.
  • Proficiency in MS Office products.
  • A valid driver's license.
