Nuro is seeking a skilled Simulation Driver to join our Operations Team. As a Simulation Driver, you will play a critical role in operating our test vehicles and collecting data to help advance our technologies and future product roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate Nuro test vehicles on public residential roads in various weather conditions
  • Collect data and troubleshoot in real-world situations, providing detailed and accurate feedback to our engineers
  • Conduct daily vehicle pre-inspections prior to leaving the facility
  • Collaborate with our talented robotics and software engineers to help advance our technologies

Requirements

  • Valid California driver's license with 3+ years of driving experience
  • Clean driving record and ability to pass a criminal background check
  • Availability to work consistently through the weekend
  • Responsibility, dependability, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently or in small groups and for periods without direct supervision
  • Ability to sit and drive for long periods of time with regular breaks
  • Passion for new technology and customer-service oriented attitude
  • Flexibility to occasionally work different shifts (AM, PM, weekend) as needed
  • Willingness to travel domestically as needed (up to 25%)
