Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rehabilitation Therapy Manager to join our team at Select Specialty Hospital - The Villages. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the rehabilitation services operations, guiding and mentoring the rehab team, and ensuring the plan of care for our patients is being followed at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and manage the rehabilitation services operations, including staff interviews, orientation, performance appraisals, employee development, and supervision.
  • Schedule and manage the rehabilitation therapy staff to ensure adequate coverage and efficient service delivery.
  • Ensure that the rehabilitation services provided are appropriate to the scope and level of care for our patients.
  • Foster interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure quality and efficient service delivery.
  • Serve as a liaison between the Rehabilitation Therapy department and the Chief Nursing Officer to further clinically develop staff, services, and/or rehabilitation programs.
  • Actively promote professional development, education, and competency of rehabilitation staff.
  • Demonstrate awareness of department's needs and assist with daily operations.
Requirements
  • Current State licensure as Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Minimum of 2 years clinical experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience.
  • Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
